VIVID Management Systems exhibits and participates in InternetWorld 2000 exhibition held at the Tel Aviv Trade Fair and Convention Center.

Internet World (Israel 2000) LogoInternetWorld 2000, the largest Internet and e-commerce exhibition in the world, comes to Israel for the fourth time. This giant international exhibition starts the new millenium and will take place on 28-30 March. The exhibition will be held in the Exhibition Grounds of Tel Aviv, with the same format as the InternetWorld exhibitions held in NY, Chicago, Los Angeles and some 30 other major cities around the world.

Penton International, in cooperation with the People and Computers Group, are organizing this exhibition for an expected 25,000+ visitors, professionals and executives. The exhibition is targeted to a professional audience including executives working in the Internet, in e-commerce and in information technology.

This year the exhibition will focus on the “hottest” topics in the world – e-commerce, B2B, B2C and of course content. During the three day event there will be plenary meetings, seminars, conventions and displays from the world’s leading companies, as well as accompanying events and different attractions.

Peli (the Tigerman) Peled, President of the People and Computers Group and the organizer of the exhibition, said: “A number of leading Israeli and International companies have already secured their participation in the exhibition, including: Intel, IBM, Oracle, Novel, Internet Zahav, Netvision, Techem, Hapoalim Bank, VBSI, CommerceNet, Orange-Partner, Pele-Phone, Silicon Graphics and many more.”

The Tigerman added: “The exhibition will focus on e-commerce, and will include special conventions and seminars on e-commerce, B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer), marketing and advertising, investment and IPOs, information security and more. “On each morning of the three-day InternetWorld 2000 exhibition, there will be professional seminars organized by John Bryce Training. Each afternoon will feature key-note speakers and industry panels, and the days will finish with special events for invited guests.”, added the Tigerman.

During the exhibition, world-leading computing and infrastructure companies will present advanced e-business solutions, as well as innovative technologies for building organizational networks and storage systems for the Internet, Intranets and Extranets. Communications, Cellular and ISP firms will offer a variety of new services to organizations in the era of the global network.

The first day of the InternetWorld 2000 Exhibition will be dedicated to electronic trade in the internet era, and will include lectures, seminars, displays and a variety of events reviewing this rapidly evolving field. The first day also features 2 special features – Intel Briefings for its On-line services and the New Server Generation, as well as John Bryce Technology and Oracle. The second day will focus on the LINUX breakthrough – the new alternative for IT professionals. The third and last day is packed with three separate conferences – WAP Day, E-testing, and of course the all-important issue of information security in the e-commerce era. The exhibition will also include a major display of Israeli Internet developments, which will be displayed in “Start-Up City”.

Additionally, exhibition visitors will be able to participate in a variety of attractions, including the Global Banner Competition – “BannerWorld – InternetWorld 2000’s Golden Rail”. The winning banners will be displayed at the InternetWorld Exhibition in NY. Another attraction will be a special fashion show “The Brave New Unwired World”, featuring international models. The show was developed especially for InternetWorld 2000 by staff from MIT. The show comes to Israel after meeting with great success at exhibitions in NY, Hong Kong and Singapore and is proudly sponsored by InfoCharms.

The 15th Israeli high-tech employment fair, “People and Career Encounters”, will also be held as part of the exhibition. It will be sponsored by Yediot Aharonot career board, and will include more than 50 firms offering thousands of new jobs.
